Thundercats Are On the Prowl

Oh nostalgia, nostalgia, nostalgia. Thanks to our recent free trial period with Blockbuster Online I've gotten to watch some DVD's that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. I've now been able to share with my kids some of the joys of my youth. It was fun to see them getting into Thundercats and even better when I caught my son singing the words to the theme song of The Greatest American Hero after watching a couple of episodes of that one night. He liked the show, but just thought the theme song was too cool. I have to agree that it is one of the best themes of all time, so it was really neat to share this with my kid. I was so excited that the following week I decided I needed to share the Thunder with the people at work. Remember, Dagromm will always share the Thunder.

Is it worse that you wore that to work? Or that you stuffed your crotch when you did it?

But seriously, nice use of the DVD rental to introduce the kids to the classics. I still remember rushing home to see that at 3:30 in the afternoons.

Now get the kids hooked on Weird Al albums, and you've really got them living our childhood.

Punky Brewster?

No to Punky Brewster. Yes to Weird Al. The boy's already got Dare to Be Stupid and the Food Album. I really didn't ever give him a chance to be cool. It's a hard thing to do on the back end. FYI future parents.

That's why I already have my kids first bong and a Max Keeble's Big Move poster.

I've been rewatching the GI Joe and D&D cartoon. The D&D cartoon holds up over time and is still pretty good. The GI Joe cartoon...not so much.
