A Dose of Reality

I had to run a few errands early this morning. So after the daily ritual of waking everyone up and getting them ready so that when I returned we could leave straight away I headed out the door. My daughter (now 7) took my place on the sofa in front of Robin Meade and whoever the hell else is on CNN Headline News.

When I returned some minutes later my daughter was still on the sofa and I was surprised to see that the channel hadn't changed. My daughter upon seeing me quickly announced that Britney Spears had shaved her head and that Anna Nicole, who is from Texas, still needed to be buried. Thanks a lot CNN. I then had to spend the rest of the morning explaining to my daughter that all of this craziness had something to do with drugs, not studying enough for school, and not going to bed on time.

The good news is that I'm dedicated to going to bed on time tonight.

Wow, I hadn't seen Britney's new look. Geez, that was a really bad public relations move on her part. She needs to fire her publicist, her hair dresser or both.

She did it her self CyberD. I saw the pics with the razor. Let's not lose sight of the debacle that is the life of A.N.S. The dead version of her is now the central part of some power struggle to have her buried even though her "Husband" was named controller of her estate. I do think it had something to do with not going to bed on time though...

I'm waiting for you to step forward as the father of ANS's baby, Q.

I don't think Britney is even connected upstairs any more. She has no conception of the consequences of her actions. No, she's well beyond that. Paris probably slipped her too big of a hit of LSD on top of the Xstasy and a case of booze. Her wires are fried. The Media is on top of it because the most spectacular story is the plane going down in flames. In six months, after the final flames sputter out, you won't hear another word about her. This is one plane crash that won't be analyzed after the fact.
