These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

If you like deviltry then you're probably a big fan of The Charlie Daniels Band and the Devil Went Down to Georgia. If you've never heard the song then feel free to enjoy.

If you do like this song then you probably also remember the more recent version done by the KMC KRU. It's so fresh I can hardly stand it. Uh uh uh uh. Sorry, I broke into the running man for a minute.

The running man? Wow..just..wow.

Susan, he breaks into the running man all the time. We were in line at Pancho's Mexican Buffet a while back and he broke into it when they put out some fresh Tex-Mex Enchiladas.

That's so awesome of you. It's kind of like me and the robot. Excpet now that my girls are older, they put a moratorium on it. Damn rotten teenagers.

I've danced for far less a wonderful event, Q.

When I was in Junior High me and my best friend used to buy clothes like that at Chess King.

We'd also bust out our dance duo just like that too.

Sometimes vintage is better.

I can't believe you used the word fresh in 2007.

Susan - When the event calls for it, I'm not afraid to dust it off and break it down.

Q - Uh uh uh uh...You said fresh enchiladas right? Uh uh uh...

Churlita - Kids don't know how to dance anymore. Walk it out??? Please. Lean wit it, Rock wit it? Cyber D can do that, and if he can do it I'm not interested.

Susan - What kind of dance was it?

Gyuss - I'm noy sure that I believe that you ever shopped at a Chess King.

Lit - Sometimes, but only sometimes.

Tera - I'm a lot more embarassed by my use of the word ill, a few posts ago. I can't believe no one called me out on that. At least this time I can honestly say that I was using verbage that matched the time of the video. Just like the convertible Nissan truck the devil was driving.

Don't make me come over there and break it down!

Tera said...

Ha! Yes, I must have missed "ill!" That must have been while I was still mad at you for your disappear act!

Dag, I enjoyed both videos quite a bit--but must admit to enjoying the first the most.

And do I have to stop doing something just because it embarrasses the teenager? I thought that just makes it more fun!

Gus - I double dog dare you to come over here and break it down.

Tera - I threw up a little bit when I used it. It's only now that I can admit it.

Jaz - I completely agree. If I know it embarrases my kid that only encourages me to do it more.
