Some Updates

Hi everyone!! I've got lots to say, but am way too tired to probably talk about everything as much as I should. First of all let me talk about work. A few months ago I found out that my job was being eliminated. I wasn't given a definite time frame, but it was going to happen and I needed to find a new job. Well, the good news is that I've outlived my job and been offered a new position with another company. I'm excited about it and it could be a really good opportunity, but it will take me away from home a lot for the next six months and ultimately will most likely mean relocating after that six month time frame. So where as I'm excited, I'm also quite worried about being away from my family for such an extended period of time. They'll probably handle it a lot better than I will. I'm the one that cries at movies.

The boy has finished his first year of high school and enjoyed most of it. He's decided not to pursue band and is hoping that he can get a job this summer. I think he's probably younger than most places will consider, so I'm going to try to help him get a volunteer job to use as a spring board for a paying one later on. Plus it's a nice thing to do.

The girl is still playing soccer and just finished a soccer camp which was led by Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, and other women's soccer legends. She was really excited and got their autographs and pictures with them too. The stuff is already on her wall!

I'll write more later, but like I said........pooped.

Wahoo! What a nice change of pace. You get to bid "sayonara" to the employer. Good, good luck on the new venture; God only knows I hope they don't go out of business. Then we'd all be down the tube. Love you bunches, and hugs to all the family.

Congratulations!!!! I'm so happy for you and excited to hear more about the new job. Is it too early to ask where you might be relocating? My love to you and Mrs Daggs and the little daggses.

Me too!! Congrats! It's so hard in this economy to find employment in one's own field - I'm so excited for you. Yes, details please~!~
