Well blog folk, I have to admit that I am impressed and somewhat concerned that I have inspired so many of you to take up the dangerous pastime of storm chasing. I have received numerous e-mails from around the world with your own pictures of Mother Nature dressed in her most wicked of clubbing clothes bringing her wrath down upon the world. I just urge you all to consider your own safety first and don't feel that you have to live up to my example of daring. It's too much to attempt.
The first picture comes from the D.C. area. It appears that the photographer has taken to higher ground to get this pic which of course has it's pros and cons. I myself prefer to stay at "ground zero" for my pictures, but I don't fault anyone for looking for protective cover.
The next picture comes courtesy of Eslocura. I know that Cyber D protested this picture saying that the American government had put a stop to Puerto Rico getting rainbows anymore. As soon as he saw it he was on the phone calling Congressman and Senators to try and get this idea enacted.

I can't help it. You're my hero.
I try to emulate everything you do, except that thing that Q does with you and the scarf. That scares me.
Is the rainbow in the second picture ending on a port-o-potty?
Gus - It's called the David Copperfield. Well not really. That's something completely different.
Susan - Yes it is. Pot at the end of the rainbow. Get it?
Love the rainbow...of course minus the pot unless that bitch is full of gold!!!
I'm not sure that sitting on my sofa and snapping a pic is considered "storm chasing" or "seeking cover". It's really more a case of the storm chasing me.
That's exactly the same place all my rainbows end.
Tera - You've got to catch the leprachaun first.
Goo - I give you credit for your bravery. Others will say your crazy, but if you love the danger like I do then you'll keep it up.
Churlita - I know what you mean, in kind of a depressing way.
I looted that pic, it wasn't taken in Puerto Rico and Cyber D can kiss my mangos! (didn't he hear about the last senator I had contact with? it wasn't pretty)
Eslocura, my grandma once told me that you don't invite everyone to your...mangoes!
Eslocura - Yeah, that CyberD is a jerk. I warned him not to cross the Puerto Ricans. I've seen Westside Story.
Tera - I'm not everybody.
I wish my grandma had said that, instead she always said"just use your mangos for good not evil". most of the time I do just that.
Eslocura - Your grandma sounds like a wise woman. My grandmother liked grapefruit.
